John Bradley Martin, a native New Mexican and graduate of Lovington High School, founded Arizona Assurance Agency, Inc. in 1981 after he graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, earning his degree in Economics with minors in Management and Science. Mr. Martin has completed many insurance training courses, including the prestigious Aetna Agent School and Life Underwriter Training Counsel, earning his fellowship in 1985.

Acquisitions of the Wright Agency, McMullan Agency, and the Best Agency have contributed to a loyal customer base that Mr. Martin dramatically appreciates. With honesty and integrity at the forefront of his business model, he looks forward to the next twenty years of professional service to all his customers in the great southwest.

MaryBeth Martin, Vice-President and Treasurer of Desert Mountain Agency, Inc. and Arizona Assurance Agency, Inc., grew up on Long Island, New York. She moved with her family to Yorba Linda, California, in 1979 and graduated from Esperanza High School in 1981. MaryBeth was a home engineer, caring for her three children and spending much of her time with the City of Phoenix in their Senior Services Department. She began her insurance career in 1997 with Humana Insurance, where she trained in Group and Individual Life and Health as an Agent.

Mrs. Martin joined J. B. Martin Group in 2001 and is now the Administrative Manager for both operations and directs the customer service operations for both Agencies.

She enjoys her time with her three kids (including Jacqueline and Kathleen who have also spent time working with the Agency) and her eleven grandchildren.

Justin Hamm graduated from Sandia High School in 2005 and joined J. B. Martin in 2006 while working on his bachelor's degree. Mr. Hamm is the lead in our commercial lines department for the Agency. Justin loves spending time with his Fiance, Jessica, his daughter Macy, and with his son Skylar as they enjoy four wheeling and football together.

Davie Hicks, another native New Mexican, graduated from Sandia High School in 1983.  She has managed her family's small businesses since 1989 and in the banking business for over ten years. She became a licensed agent in 2013 when she started working with Arizona Assurance Agency, Inc. Her hobbies are golfing, snowmobiling, and horses. Her greatest love in life is her son, Colton, planning his attendance at the University of New Mexico in 2015 and her husband, Larry, who runs LDH Enterprises.

Elizabeth Rael was also born and raised in New Mexico and graduated from Los Lunas High School in 2004. She took an interest and worked in the dialysis/nephrology field for a few years before becoming a domestic engineer and caring for her three children Aiden, Dominic, and Aniyah. Elizabeth began her insurance career in 2018 when she joined Arizona Assurance Agency, Inc.. She takes pleasure in helping others and spending time with her family and friends. Ms. Rael is the personal lines manager for Arizona Assurance Agency, Inc.

Mr. Meisenheimer is also a Native New Mexican, Graduated in 2009 from Eldorado Highschool. John played rugby for the University of New Mexico while in college while studying Business Administration. His is married to Karissa Currie and is a father of 3 Girls KJ, Zaya and Alba. John Joined the Agency in 2020 after a 10 year career as a mechanic. He heads up our technical services programs and Agency Automation as well as handling both personal and commercial lines of business.

Another New Mexico native, Lorenzo graduated from one of the most competitive high schools, Nex-Gen Academy, in 2018.He was also a manager at Stufy’s Restaurant, an Albuquerque favorite, for many years. After graduating he enjoyed working for an EMT Company GEMS protecting those who build America. He was also published by a scientific organization (BEMP) in 2018 studying biodiversity in Valle De Oro. His insurance career started in 2021 with Arizona Assurance Agency, Inc.
